Emergency Care Summary

If you attend the out-of-hours care centre, you will be asked if the staff there may access your Emergency Care Summary. This gives them information on your previous 30 days prescriptions together with any allergies the practice knows of. If you do not want this information made available to the out-of-hours service please let the practice know.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
