All consultations are via appointments which can be made in-person at the Blue Wing reception or by telephone.
The practice operates a call-menu telephone system; dial
0141 531 6410 and select option:-
1 – Appointments & general enquiries
2 – Clinical emergencies requiring urgent medical attention
3 - Repeat Prescription Service
4 - Lab Results, only available 10.30a.m. to 2.30p.m.
The practice provides an advanced booking plus an “on the day” appointment service.
Appointments can be booked 4 weeks in advance for routine clinical matters, GP return appointments and nurse appointments.
All appointments are subject to individual clinicans’s availability.
Please note: Sick-Lines/Fit Notes and repeat prescriptions are not considered to be urgent clinical matters. Using an Emergency Appointment for this, is deemed to be a mis-use of an appointment.
In addition the practice offers an “Extended Hours” service. This service offers a limited number of pre-bookable appointments for patients who are unable to attend the surgery during normal working hours.
This service does not deal with emergencies. Bloods are unable to be taken during these appointments

These calls will be dealt with on the same day by the “on call” doctor.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions (see staff page) and you may be seen more quickly.
If you wish a chaperone while being examined, please let us know
The practice has access to the National Interpreting Service, should the patient require the assistance of an interpreter.
All of our examination beds are of fixed height. If this would give you difficulties, please inform the receptionist as arrangements will need to be made to book the use of an electronic adjustable bed.
For patients with hearing difficulties, please request portable loop system to be available at time of consultation
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
